Does Medicare cover dentist visits?
Original Medicare generally does not cover routine dental care. Some Medicare Advantage plans include dental benefits, but covered treatments, provider networks, limits and costs vary. Call (305) 466-2334 with your insurance card ready. Ask our team to confirm participation in your specific plan, benefits and any estimated out-of-pocket costs before booking. An insurer’s name alone does not confirm acceptance, and benefit verification does not guarantee payment.
Are dentures or implants covered?
Coverage varies by Medicare Advantage plan. Do not assume dentures or implants are included. Ask about exclusions, annual limits, prior approval and your share of the cost. A dentist must also evaluate which treatment is appropriate for you.
What should I bring?
Have your insurance card, photo ID and a current medication list ready. When booking, ask whether the office needs previous dental records or anything else for your visit. Do not send insurance numbers or medical details through the page-sharing feature.
